{"id":1177819,"date":"2023-01-26T14:08:58","date_gmt":"2023-01-26T12:08:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nssmc.gov.ua\/?p=1177819"},"modified":"2023-02-13T14:05:21","modified_gmt":"2023-02-13T12:05:21","slug":"nktspfr-dopustyla-do-obihu-oblihatsii-iaki-vypushcheni-kanadoiu-dlia-pidtrymky-ukrainy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nssmc.gov.ua\/en\/nktspfr-dopustyla-do-obihu-oblihatsii-iaki-vypushcheni-kanadoiu-dlia-pidtrymky-ukrainy\/","title":{"rendered":"The NSSMC admitted to circulation the bonds issued by Canada to support Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The NSSMC (National Securities and Stock Market Commission) has admitted bonds (Ukraine Sovereignty Bond) issued by the Government of Canada to circulation on the territory of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The initiator of the application for the admission of securities of a foreign issuer is PJSC \u00abNational Depository of Ukraine\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>To offer Canadians the opportunity to directly support Ukraine, the Government of Canada has issued five-year bonds worth $500 million, denominated in Canadian dollars.<\/p>\n<p>The funds are aimed at supporting the Government of Ukraine by providing basic services to Ukrainians, such as: pensions, purchasing fuel before winter and restoring the energy infrastructure, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Canadians who participate in the Ukraine Sovereignty Bond are actually buying ordinary Canadian government bonds at a rate of 3.245%. To provide investors with confidence in the safety of their funds, Ukraine Sovereignty Bonds also have Canada&#8217;s AAA credit rating.<\/p>\n<p>The maturity date of the bonds is symbolic &#8211; 08\/24\/2027, the Independence Day of Ukraine.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NSSMC (National Securities and Stock Market Commission) has admitted bonds (Ukraine Sovereignty Bond) issued by the Government of Canada to circulation on the territory of Ukraine.
