Ruslan Magomedov, Chairman of the NSSMC, met with an IMF delegation headed by Priscila Toffano, IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the implementation of the Memorandum with the IMF (MEFP) under the eighth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program. The participants discussed the issues of independent verification of compliance of individual Commission officials with legal requirements, capital flows management (CFM) measures, and priorities for the financial markets infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The IMF mission was represented by economists Sidra Rehman, Dermot Monaghan, Vladislav Filatov and Andrea Manera.<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian side was represented by the Commissioners and the Head of the NSSMC Office, Mykhailo Yanchuk, together with the experts from the Office.<\/p>\n

In particular, the participants focused on the operational changes and plans that had taken place since the last visit of the IMF technical mission and the innovations having been implemented after the adoption of the IOSCO law in 2024. The participants also discussed the estimated timeline for the drafting of laws on securitization and secured bonds.<\/p>\n

Just a reminder: The work of the IMF mission on the eighth review of the EFF program began on 20 May 2025.<\/p>\n
