The National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC) continues to inform market participants and the public about key developments in the capital markets. The monthly digest for January 2026 provides key data and analytical insights into securities trading dynamics.<\/p>\n

Key indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Organized market \u2014 UAH 114 billion<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trading volumes correlate with activity in domestic government bonds (OVDP). The total trading volume was UAH 16 billion higher than in January 2025.<\/p>\n

Over-the-counter (OTC) market \u2014 UAH 39.5 billion<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compared to January of last year, volumes increased by UAH 2.8 billion. The trading structure mainly consisted of domestic and external government bonds (OVDP and OZDP), investment certificates, and promissory notes.<\/p>\n

Commodity exchanges \u2014 UAH 30.6 billion<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is UAH 8.4 billion less than in January 2025. At the same time, compared to December 2025, the indicator increased by UAH 4 billion. The majority of transactions on commodity exchanges were related to electricity trading.<\/p>\n

The Commission systematically provides information to market participants and the public in order to uphold the principles of transparency and strengthen investor confidence.<\/p>\n
