Today, on 04 August, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission held its regular meeting.<\/p>\n
The agenda contained 29 items concerning legislative initiatives, financial monitoring, the registration of securities issues, the activities of collective investment institutions, the work of professional market participants, and the Commission\u2019s internal organizational activities.<\/p>\n
Key legislative and regulatory initiatives include reviewing the draft Law of Ukraine \u201cOn the Taxonomy of Sustainable Economic Activities and Sustainable Investments,\u201d draft amendments to the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Capital Markets and Organized Commodity Markets\u201d regarding the Ukrainian Economic Security Bureau\u2019s access to information from the depository accounting system, as well as the preparation of the Commission\u2019s conclusions on draft laws in the area of greenhouse gas emissions quota trading.<\/p>\n
The revised draft Regulations on the conduct of financial monitoring by entities subject to state regulation and supervision by the NSSMC were also approved.<\/p>\n
A separate set of questions concerned the development of the capital market and the activities of its professional participants.<\/p>\n
