Today, on 13 August, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission held its regular meeting. The agenda included 36 items concerning legislative initiatives, regulatory framework, the activities of professional capital market participants, the registration of securities issues, corporate governance, and the Commission\u2019s internal operations.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, the Commission, in particular:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u25cf reviewed the draft Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Digitalization\u201d and related changes to the Budget Code of Ukraine; A separate set of issues concerned the activities of professional market participants, the registration of stock and corporate bond issues, the approval of charters of venture capital corporate investment funds, as well as personnel approvals at asset management companies and other market participants.<\/p>\n
\n\u25cf approved a new procedure for the approval of top officials and responsible persons of professional participants in capital markets;
\n\u25cf defined criteria for classifying enterprises as ones of significant importance to the capital markets sector and organized commodity markets.<\/p>\n
