Today, on 26 August, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission held its regular meeting. The Commission considered issues related to legislation, capital market regulation, the fulfillment of international obligations, and the activities of professional market participants. <\/p>\n

During the meeting, the Commission, in particular:<\/strong> <\/p>\n

\u2022\tapproved explanatory notes on two draft Laws of Ukraine amending the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the Civil Code of Ukraine, and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses to ensure compliance with European Union legislation and the relevant criteria for Ukraine\u2019s accession to the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA);
\n\u2022\tconsidered a draft law of Ukraine on the implementation of rules to combat tax evasion practices in accordance with the Council (EU) Directive;
\n\u2022\tapproved the revised draft amendments to the NSSMC\u2019s regulatory legal acts regarding the suspension of licenses of professional market participants subject to sanctions;
\n\u2022\tupdated the Commission\u2019s Rulemaking Plan for 2026;
\n\u2022\tapproved the Commission\u2019s Action Plan for the Implementation of the Letter of Intent of the Government of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine dated 02 July 2026, and the Memorandum on Economic and Financial Policy;
\n\u2022\tupdated the list of assets, including cash, belonging to clients and depositors of FREEDOM FINANCE UKRAINE LLC, to which an asset-freezing sanction is applied;
\n\u2022\tregistered the issue of investment certificates for one mutual fund and the issue of shares for six corporate venture capital investment funds, and also approved the draft charter and registered the issue of shares of another fund to form its initial authorized capital;
\n\u2022\tregistered the issue of corporate bonds by NovaPay Credit LLC, reports on the results of the corporate bond issue by AGROMAT LLC, and approved amendments to the decisions on the private placement of bonds by KHIMFARMZAVOD CHERVONA ZIRKA PrJSC;
\n\u2022\tcancelled the registration of share issues and revoked the certificates of registration for the share issues of two venture capital corporate investment funds.<\/p>\n

Separately, the Commission approved the nominations of executive officers, supervisory board members, and designated staff members at a number of professional service providers and asset management companies. <\/p>\n
