Applications will be accepted through 23 September.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to professional experience, some of the key requirements for this position are independent judgment, impartiality, and integrity.<\/p>\n<p>This is consistent with the powers of an authorized official: when reviewing cases, the official must evaluate the facts and evidence, apply legislation, and make professional decisions regardless of external expectations.<\/p>\n<p>Proper management of conflicts of interest is particularly important.
