For you to be able to start getting your assets back, you will need to
open an account in a depository institution / investment firm and
submit a request to this entity.

What do you do if your assets recovery request
has been unsuccessful?
You need to submit to the NSSMC a relevant request. The NSSMC
will be processing it within 10 working days starting with the
submission day and, if the reasons why you have not been put on
the List of assets are resolved, the NSSMC will accordingly update
the List of assets, which you, the Interim Manager, the Central
Depository, the National Bank of Ukraine, and the Settlement Center,
will surely be notified of.
What do you do if your ID information
changed?
Fill out an application form, make a copy of the updated document
that has changed, sign it with a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES),
and send it to the NSSMC at ffn@nssmc.gov.ua

ASSETS RECOVERY REQUEST
FAILED
You need to submit to the NSSMC an application mentioning your
personal identification information, identification information of
the client/depositor, grounds for acquiring the right to return
assets, as well as the following supporting documents:
for inheritors: a document entitling the applicant to receive a
client's/depositor's assets by right of inheritance (certificate of
ownership of a share in the joint property of spouses in the event
of the death of one of the spouses or a court decision that has
entered into legal force, on the right to a share in the joint
property of spouses in the event of the death of one of the
spouses; certificate of inheritance or a court decision that has
entered into legal force on the right to receive the
client's/depositor's assets by right of inheritance);
for the guardian of a client/depositor: certificate of guardianship
over the property of a client/depositor who has been declared
missing or missing under special circumstances; a court decision
that has entered into legal force declaring an individual legally
incompetent;
for the caretaker of a client/depositor with diminished civil
capacity: a guardian's certificate, a court decision that has
entered into legal force on the restriction of the civil capacity of
a natural person;
for legal successors: documents confirming legal succession, as
required by the law;
a court decision that has entered into legal force, confirming the
right of a person to receive the assets of a client/depositor.
