28 June— Constitution Day of Ukraine

On this day Ukraine honors one of the important symbols of its independence.

The 1996 Constitution of Ukraine reflects the centuries-old values of the Ukrainian people: love of freedom and dignity. These principles have been shaped over centuries — in struggle, in thought, and in the pursuit of freedom. And today, more than ever, they need our protection.

For over 10 years, Ukrainians have been defending their right to live in a free, law-abiding, European country. So these are not just rules on paper — they are our choice, our identity, and our path.
