24 February: a day of hardship and courage

24 Feb 2022 is a day that forever changed the course of Ukraine’s recent history. The full-scale invasion by the aggressor has been a test for every family, every community and the entire state. It has brought the pain of loss, but at the same time it has revealed to the world the true strength and dignity of the Ukrainian people.

On this anniversary, we honor the memory of all those who gave their lives for Ukraine’s freedom and independence. We bow our heads to the courage of the defenders, to the resilience of the civilians who, despite the danger, continue to live, work, and support the country.

We express our sincere gratitude to the soldiers, volunteer fighters, medical workers, rescuers, volunteer aid workers, and everyone whose daily work brings us closer to victory. It is thanks to unity and mutual support that Ukraine is holding on and moving forward with confidence.

The road ahead is still difficult. However, we are united by a shared responsibility for the future of our country, a belief in justice, and a determination to defend our freedom.

We remember. We work. We believe together.
