Functioning of Corporate Governance, Development and Implementation of Financial Instruments Committee

The competence of the Functioning of Corporate Governance, Development and Implementation of Financial Instruments Committee of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission includes the following issues:

implementation and development of generally accepted principles of corporate governance in joint-stock companies and professional participants in the capital markets and organised commodity markets;

formulation and implementation of state policy regarding issuers and issuances of securities and derivative contracts in Ukraine;

exercise of state regulation in the area of circulation of non-issuance securities and derivative contracts in Ukraine;

regulation of the procedure for holding meetings of bondholders and the activities of bond issue administrators;

expanding the range of financial instruments on capital markets, including through the admission of foreign securities to circulation in the territory of Ukraine;

ensuring the functioning of the rating market;

underlying assets and underlying indicators of derivative contracts;

determination of derivative contracts not explicitly provided for by law;

specifications of derivative contracts concluded on organised capital markets.
