NSSMC and NBU agreed on steps to develop capital markets: results of a meeting

A joint meeting was held, chaired by Oleksii Semeniuk, Chairman of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC), and Andriy Pyshnyi, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU). During the meeting, questions were discussed related to the distribution powers over virtual asset regulation, the establishment of an Exchange Infrastructure Holding, and other areas where both regulators interact and coordinate their actions.

Both sides noted the constructive nature of the discussion and agreed on specific steps for joint activities to be implemented in the near future. Plans for the current year 2026 were also outlined. The meeting participants shared proposals for further cooperation and confirmed their intentions to work on its effectiveness.

The meeting was an important step in deepening cooperation and coordination between the regulators, laying the foundation for effective capital market management and promoting the development of a transparent, stable, and predictable financial environment in Ukraine.
