Chairman of the NSSMC and President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine meet with CEOs of banks and financial institutions

Establishing effective communication, discussing current issues and prospects for the development of the stock market were the key topics during a meeting between Ruslan Magomedov, Chairman of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, and Andrey Hunder, President of the American Chamber of Commerce (ACC) in Ukraine.

More than 40 representatives of financial and banking institutions joined the meeting in offline and online formats.

Ruslan Magomedov stressed the importance of understanding the needs and challenges faced by market participants. He assured that the NSSMC is taking all possible measures to ensure its stable and transparent functioning. In particular, the NSSMC is actively negotiating with the state, representatives of the banking system and the business community to create effective tools that will raise the necessary funds and provide new opportunities for entrepreneurs and the state economy.

Among other things, the Chairman of the NSSMC expressed his hopes for the development of the virtual asset market after the adoption of the relevant legislation and the digitalisation of the stock market.

The President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine thanked for the initiative and noted the important role of the stock market in the new economic realities, emphasising the need for dialogue between the Chamber and the NSSMC.

In their turn, market representatives joined the open discussion and asked the questions that interested them the most. They also expressed their readiness to join the NSSMC’s working groups to jointly develop solutions.

The NSSMC highly appreciates such meetings with capital markets experts and plans to continue this practice. Establishing a dialogue between all participants is one of the regulator’s priorities.
