NSSMC Digest: Securities Trading Dynamics — August 2025

Despite the seasonal slowdown typical for summer, the market is showing stability and high liquidity. As before, trading in OVDPs (internal governmental bonds) continues to lead the market.

Key indicators:

Organized market — UAH 83 billion
UAH 28.3 billion more than in August 2024. In terms of the structure of trading in financial instruments, it is essentially a market for OVDPs.

Unorganized market — UAH 26.7 billion
Growth amounted to UAH 2 billion compared to August last year. Among securities, OVDPs, investment certificates, and mutual fund shares prevail.

Commodity exchanges — UAH 22.6 billion
The majority of transactions on commodity exchanges involved trading in electricity.

The Commission regularly informs market participants and citizens in order to ensure transparency and maintain investor confidence.
