Yurii Boiko at TechFin Expert Summit 2024: The market works despite all challenges and offers business technological products

Today, Yurii Boiko, Commissioner, took part in the TechFin Expert Summit 2024, where he talked about technological products in the capital markets that the regulator offers to businesses today.

Yurii Boiko assured the participants: «Despite all the challenges and the war, contrary to all forecasts, the capital markets in Ukraine not only did not fall, but also persisted, show slow growth and develop. Maybe not at the pace we would all like, but this market works every day».

«It is during the war that the B2C segment grows rapidly. This is about applications for buying financial instruments on the market, through which each of us can become the owner of domestic government bonds. For example, through the «DIIA» application. Also for convenience and security, NSSMC, together with the Central Depository, developed two unique products for businesses, which are already actively used. E-voting is, without exaggeration, a revolutionary product on the territory of Ukraine, which makes it possible to hold general meetings of the corporate sector remotely. Every shareholder, wherever he is, can express his will. And for Ukrainian enterprises, a new accounting system for shares of LLCs and TJVs has been created. First of all, it is protection against illegal fraudulent actions and additional modern services (escrow accounts, e-voting, payment of dividends, etc.)», said Mr. Boiko.
