Timely: Issuers must disclose information on relations with foreign countries of the risk zone during martial law

The NSSMC (National Securities and Stock Market Commission) informs that on 22.02.2023 the Resolution of 21.02.2023 № 181 on Establishing the Procedure for the Disclosure of Information by Issuers of Securities Regarding the Existence of Relations with Foreign Countries of the Risk Zone During the Period of Martial Law, entered into force .

Thus, from the moment of entry into force of this document, all issuers of securities must, by April 30, 2023, provide information on the existence of obligations with foreign countries of the risk zone from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022, namely:
– the russian federation,
– the Republic of Belarus,
– the Islamic Republic of Iran,
– Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

The NSSMC has established the content and form of information that must be disclosed to issuers by submitting to the NSSMC through a person engaged in the activity of disclosing regulated information on behalf of stock market participants.

We draw your attention to the fact that the execution of the mentioned Resolution applies to all issuers of Ukrainian securities.

In the event that the issuer does not have relations with such foreign countries of the risk zone, this is noted in the form intended for disclosure of information, and is also submitted to the regulator.
