NSSMC: Motor Sich’ss shareholders should act within the framework of the legislation

The NSSMC (National Securities and Stock Market Commission) entrenched gross violations of the legislation during the organization of the general meeting of the joint-stock company “Motor Sich” by certain shareholders and market participants, as well as violations of the rights of other shareholders.

In the opinion of the NSSMC, these actions cannot be considered as lawful actions to convene and hold a general meeting of shareholders, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Joint Stock Companies”.

The process of law enforcement against market participants has begun. The NSSMC will continue to provide appropriate oversight of the actions of shareholders and capital market participants.

Within its powers, the NSSMC cooperates actively with law enforcement agencies to implement legal measures to protect the rights of investors.
