The NSSMC and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv signed a Memorandum on cooperation in financial education

On 15 May 2025 the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC) together with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv signed the Memorandum on cooperation in education, science and developing financial literacy. Its main goal — to prepare a generation of experts able to use financial market instruments in a modern way.

“Our cooperation with the country’s leading university – this is a very important step because in our time it is important to invest resources into the development of youth — those young people who already tomorrow will be defining the economic future of Ukraine. So, this is exactly they whom we want to give not only knowledge, but also real instruments,” emphasized Chairman of the NSSMC Ruslan Magomedov.

Volodymyr Buhrov, Rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, also emphasized the importance of such a partnership: “The university has traditionally played a key role in training highly qualified specialists. Cooperation with the National Securities and Stock Market Commission opens up new perspectives for students and academic staff, contributing to a deeper understanding of current financial market challenges and to the creation of modern, practice-oriented educational and scientific products.”

In particular, the Memorandum envisages the launch of joint educational and research projects, preparation of analytical materials, and organization of internships and practices.
