The dates of entry into force of the Regulation on the New System of Certification of Market Specialists have been postponed

The NSSMC informs that the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 30.08.2021  №1133 / 36755 registered the Resolution of the NSSMC on 05.08.2021 №609 on Amendments to Some Resolutions of the NSSMC.

This Resolution provides for amendments, in particular, to the Regulations on the Procedure for Certification of Stock Market Specialists (from 25.06.2020 №319 and registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 10.09.2020 for №868 / 35151), in terms of postponing the entry into force of certain rules and requirements of this Regulation.

The Resolution 609 stipulates that from January 1, 2022:

 – certification of persons who carry out or intend to carry out professional activities in the capital markets and organized commodity markets, is carried out in accordance with the Regulation 319;

 – as of December 31, 2021 persons who have qualification certificates obtained in accordance with the Regulations on the Procedure for Training and Certification of Stock Market Specialists, approved by the Order №215, who continue or intend to continue to carry out activities related to the direct conduct of professional activities in the stock market, before the expiration of such certificates in order to obtain a new one, should be re-certified in the manner prescribed by Regulation 319 and approved by this resolution.

Please note that until January 1, 2022 following acts remain valid:

 – Regulations on the Procedure for Training and Certification of Stock Market Specialists, approved by the order of the SSMSC of 24.09.1996 №215 (registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 08.10.1996  №584/1609 (as amended);

 – Procedure for Work of Examination Commissions and Conducting Qualification Examinations of Stock Market Specialists, approved by the Resolution  decision of the NSSMC dated on 22.01.2013 № 62 (registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 07.02.2013 for № 232/22764 (as amended).
