The terms of disclosure of intermediate information by issuers of securities in 2020 have been postponed

The National Securities and Stock Market Commission (hereinafter – the NSSMC) postponed the date of disclosure by issuers of intermediate information (including interim financial statements) in the 1st quarter of 2020.

Disclosure of interim information in the 1st quarter of 2020 must take place no later than the date of disclosure of annual information for 2019, established by paragraph 7 of section VII “Final Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On Securities and Stock Market”, ie within five working days after general meeting of shareholders in 2019.

At the next plenary session, the Verkhovna Rada plans to consider amendments to the legislation that will postpone the deadline for issuers of securities to disclose intermediate information in 2020 due to the spread of coronavirus infection in Ukraine (COVID-19).

Remind  that on March 30, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law of Ukraine №540-IX “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Aimed at Providing Additional Social and Economic Guarantees in Connection with the Spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19)“, which allowed postpone the terms of the annual general meeting on the results of 2019 and the terms of disclosure of annual information and allowed to hold the general meeting remotely in accordance with the “Temporary order of convening and remote holding of the general meeting and general meeting of participants of the corporate investment fund“, approved by the Resolution of the NSSMC №196 dated 16.04.2020
