Financial reporting, corporate bonds, and market development: key issues discussed at a Commission meeting

Today, on 07 August, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission held its regular meeting, during which it reviewed 36 issues related to regulatory control, the activities of professional market participants, financial reporting, securities issues, and the operations of collective investment institutions.

Among the key decisions were the review of the draft Law of Ukraine on sustainable development reporting, the draft amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Accounting and Financial Reporting in Ukraine,” and the approval of the draft amendments to the Regulations on depository activities.

The Commission paid particular attention to issues related to the development of the capital market, specifically the registration of corporate bond issues, the activities of corporate and mutual investment funds, and the operations of professional market participants.
