Pension provision, EU integration, and the capital market: key decisions by the NSSMC

On 30 September 2026, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission held a meeting. The Commission reviewed and approved all 49 items on the agenda.

Key decisions include:

● Legislative initiatives. The Commission’s positions on draft laws regarding non-state pension provision, simplifying VAT administration, and attracting a strategic foreign investor to Ukraine’s capital markets infrastructure were agreed upon.

● Regulation and oversight. Draft amendments to procedures for handling cases of administrative violations, reporting by depository institutions, regulation of collective investment institutions, and financial monitoring were approved.

● Electronic interaction. The procedure for information exchange between depository institutions and state and private enforcement agencies regarding debtors’ accounts and securities was approved.

● Capital market development. The meeting addressed the registration of investment fund share issues, a report on the results of the share issue by Rivnenskyi narodnyi klub “Veres” PJSC, and the compliance of NOVAVEST LLC with the established criteria.

The Commission also approved candidates for management and supervisory positions at professional market participants, made changes to the Rulemaking Plan for 2026, and addressed organizational matters.
