Fraudster with a dubious license: Commission warns about “investor” Voitenko

The National Securities and Stock Market Commission is receiving an increasing number of complaints about Taras Voitenko, who describes himself as an investor, as well as about the affiliated entity Voitenko-Invest Project PJSC. He is being accused of presenting himself as a licensed trader, taking money, but failing to return it.

On a number of Telegram channels, Voitenko presents himself as a professional investment advisor. To appear more credible, he shows potential clients documents that look like official licenses supposedly issued by the Commission. In addition, on his channels, he shares photos in which he is supposedly meeting with officials, including Commission Chairman Oleksii Semeniuk and Finance Minister of Ukraine Serhii Marchenko.

The Commission officially states: these meetings never took place, and the images are fake. Voitenko does not hold any licenses, permits, or approvals from the regulator. The Commission verified that neither he personally nor Voitenko-Invest Project PJSC are authorized to provide investment or financial services in Ukraine.
