On 01 October, we honor those who defend Ukraine, its freedom, and its independence.

We thank each and every one of you who is defending our country today, risking your own lives for the sake of others. We thank the veterans and everyone who helps the military and supports those fighting for Ukraine.

We pay special tribute to the fallen defenders — both men and women. We remember those who gave their lives for Ukraine.

We wish our soldiers strength, resilience, and a safe return home.

May Ukraine be free, independent, and peaceful.
