As part of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) project “Financial Sector Reform” (FSR Project), the National Securities and Stock Market Commission and DAI Global LLC signed a cooperation protocol.

As part of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) project “Financial Sector Reform” (FSR Project), the National Securities and Stock Market Commission and DAI Global LLC signed a cooperation protocol.
Thus, the goal of the FSR Project is to support systemic changes in the economy of Ukraine by transforming the country’s financial sector. The result should be a well-functioning, competitive market that operates in accordance with European Union (EU) and international standards for financial markets.
Among the main goals of the project are:
– ensuring confidence in the integrity and strength of financial markets through strong and independent regulation and supervision of financial markets;
– creation of conditions for price discovery and fair pricing on commodity and capital markets with the help, in particular, of developed financial infrastructure;
– diversification of financial services and instruments, promotion of the emergence of alternative sources of financing by strengthening financial service providers, intermediaries and facilitators and competition between them;
– increasing financial inclusion through financial literacy and secure digital financial initiatives;
– increasing market accountability and transparency by involving the private sector, business associations, mass media and civil society.
The NSSMC is grateful to international partners for their support and willingness to cooperate in such a difficult time for Ukraine for the development of the financial segment and the economy as a whole.
