The NSSMC is inviting professionals who are ready to make difficult decisions for the market

When a market participant violates established rules or fails to disclose required information, someone needs to examine the circumstances of the case, assess the evidence, and make a decision. This is the role of authorized persons of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC). The NSSMC has now extended the selection process for these positions.

An authorized person considers cases involving possible violations of legislation governing capital markets and organized commodity markets. This may include failure to comply with information disclosure requirements, unlawful actions by market participants, and other violations of established rules.

The work involves analyzing facts and evidence, carrying out necessary procedural actions, establishing the circumstances of a case, and making decisions within the powers defined by Law.

These are positions where simply having a good knowledge of the law is not enough. Independence of judgment, impartiality, and principled decision-making are essential — the ability to apply the same rules to all market participants. Equally important is the ability to work with large volumes of information and take responsibility for every decision.

Such decisions matter not only for a particular case. The work of authorized persons affects confidence in the regulator and determines how transparent and fair the rules governing the Ukrainian market are for its participants and investors.
