The NSSMC has added two more projects to the list of suspicious ones — LambdaTrade and Sevlushfoods. Both actively encourage Ukrainians to invest money in them, promise high returns, but neither has authorization to operate in the Ukrainian capital markets.
LambdaTrade presents itself as an investment platform for Ukrainians — the website has a Ukrainian-language version, and anyone from Ukraine can register on it. However, it does not have the license and authorizations required by law to attract funds from Ukrainian investors.
Sevlushfoods operates differently, but the goal is the same — attracting funds. The project offers to purchase tokens called AGTI and promises a guaranteed and very high rate of return.
The NSSMC emphasizes that no legitimate financial instrument can guarantee exceptionally high profits without risk. This is a fundamental principle of investing, and anyone who violates it either does not understand how finance works or deliberately misleads people.
The NSSMC identified these projects during its monitoring activities and detected signs indicating unfair fundraising practices.
Information about LambdaTrade, Sevlushfoods, and other suspicious projects can be found on the NSSMC’s official website in the “Investor Protection” section. Anyone planning to invest can view the full list of suspicious projects via the link.
Why this matters
The NSSMC systematically maintains a list of suspicious investment projects. The scheme is always the same; only the names and the packaging change — the website, token, platform, or application. The goal is to collect money from people who trust attractive promises. The sooner people learn about such a project, the lower the chances that someone will lose their savings.
How to identify such a scheme on your own
The very promise of guaranteed and high returns should already raise concerns — in the real market, returns are always linked to risk, and no one can promise profits in advance. Another warning sign is the absence of a license. Whether a company has one can be checked in the registers available on the NSSMC’s website. If the company is not listed there, it should not be trusted.
The absence of a physical address or office in Ukraine should also raise suspicions, especially if the platform is actively promoted to Ukrainians and has a Ukrainian-language version of its website.
Other signs of potential fraud include psychological pressure (urging you to make an immediate decision), promises of exclusive access or membership in closed clubs, as well as requests to transfer funds in cryptocurrency or to a private individual’s bank card. The main rule is simple: before investing your money, verify the company in the official registers instead of relying on reviews or advertisements on social media. If a company is not included in the list of suspicious projects, this does not necessarily mean that it is reliable. You can always contact the NSSMC with an inquiry.
