is your investment to the Victory and future of Ukraine

The National Commission added two new entries to its list of dubious investment projects: CadBrokers and Aurora Trade Limited. Both present themselves as brokers and offer Ukrainians the opportunity to trade stocks, currencies, cryptocurrencies, metals, and leveraged futures, but neither is authorized to operate in Ukraine’s capital markets.

CadBrokers operates through the website cadlimited.online and promises access to over 100 assets — from Bitcoin and gold to Apple, Tesla, and GM stocks. The platform offers three account types: from “Beginner” with a minimum deposit of USD 150 and 1:100 leverage* to “Professional” with a deposit starting at USD 10,000, promised “deposit protection,” and 24/7 support. The name itself hints at the status of a licensed broker, although the company does not hold any licenses. Anyone can register on the website — the registration form immediately prompts you to enter a Ukrainian phone number starting with +380.

Aurora Trade Limited (aurora-trade.ltd) positions itself as a company with “over 15 years of experience” and offers futures trading** on the DJ30, EUR50, and GER40*** indices, energy commodities and metals. There are also three account packages here — “Silver” starting at USD 250, “Gold” starting at USD 5,000, and “Platinum” starting at USD 10,000 — with each higher tier promising more and more “exclusive privileges.” Like CadBrokers, the site is specifically geared toward Ukrainian clients: the registration form requires a +380 phone number.

In both cases, the Commission identified the same red flags: neither project has an office in Ukraine nor obtained the licenses or other permits required to accept funds from Ukrainians. It is also telling that the interface of both websites is predominantly in Russian — even though they prompt users to register using a Ukrainian phone number.

It’s worth mentioning the 1:100 leverage that CadBrokers advertises even for beginner accounts. This means that a minor price movement of an asset can wipe out an entire deposit in a matter of minutes. On unregulated platforms, such a tool most often works against the client rather than in their favor.

The Commission constantly monitors the market and updates its list of dubious investment projects as soon as it detects signs of fraudulent solicitation of funds. Only the names and packaging change — the website, the platform, the set of assets — but the essence remains the same: to collect money from people who have believed the promise of easy money.

You can check whether a company is authorized to operate in the capital markets by consulting the public registries on the Commission’s website — it takes just a few minutes and could protect you from losing your savings. Just because a company isn’t listed among dubious projects doesn’t necessarily mean it’s trustworthy: if you have any doubts, it’s best to contact the Commission directly.

A complete list of dubious investment projects is available on the Commission’s website in the “Investor Protection” section. There, you can also learn about the typical signs of fraudulent schemes.

If you have come across a platform like this or have already fallen victim to cybercriminals, please report it to the Commission’s specialists at [email protected].

*allows an investor to enter into trades for an amount that significantly exceeds their own deposit. As a result, even a slight fluctuation in the asset’s price can quickly lead to the loss of all invested funds.
**contracts that allow you to make or lose money depending on how the price of an asset changes in the future.
***stock indices that track changes in the value of the largest companies in the U.S., the Eurozone, and Germany.
