NSSMC discussed with the Deputy Prime Minister the alignment of legislation with EU standards

Oleksii Semeniuk, Chairman of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, together with NSSMC Commissioner Maksym Libanov, held a meeting with Taras Kachka, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.

The NSSMC Chair announced this on his Telegram channel.

During the meeting, they discussed the alignment of legislation with European Union requirements, as well as the status of preparations and the Commission’s key tasks within the scope of the EU integration process.

The NSSMC is currently tasked with bringing 187 regulatory acts into compliance with EU standards as well as preparing 22 draft laws.

Work in this area has been underway and remains a key component of the integration of Ukrainian capital markets into the European financial area.
