A successful case on the market: from a SCAM project to a responsible transition to the legal environment

During a meeting of its committee in charge of the issue, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC) decided to remove LLC Gonzo Invest from the list of questionable investment projects.

The publication by the NSSMC of a list of suspicious investment projects and cooperation with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) in this area create an incentive to leave the shadow sector.

This case is a good example of how a company that had previously raised concerns of the regulator was able to take responsible steps to legalize its activities. Just to remind you, in August 2023, Gonzo Invest was added to the list of SCAM projects due to its lack of a license and signs of potential unreliability.

However, the company responded appropriately to the NSSMC’s comments, provided all necessary documents, and successfully completed the licensing procedure. The Commission’s decision to issue a license was based on a thorough analysis of the information provided, the documents submitted, and the results of the relevant checks. As a result, Gonzo Invest has received official permission to conduct investment consulting activities. From now on, the company has been oprating exclusively within the framework of the current legislation.

The Commission will continue to ensure market transparency and stability by constantly monitoring market participants and responding promptly to any changes that may affect investment security.
