CFA Society Ukraine launches online course-simulator of ethical dilemmas of investment professionals

The Association of Investment Professionals CFA Society Ukraine, which is part of the global network of CFA Institute communities, launches online course simulator “Ethics of Finance and Investment Professionals” on EdEra platform on September 14 an. The course consists of 8 modules and is completely free.

Trust is absolutely necessary for the financial and investment spheres. Ethical behavior and competence, in turn, are the foundation for its creation. This is shown by the results of a survey of financial professionals, conducted by the Association CFA Society Ukraine.

“What seems to be legal or rational is not always ethical. Ukraine suffers from a total lack of trust, and it is professional ethics that can help to correct this situation at least a little. Ethical thinking allows it possible to recognize ethical dilemmas, taking into account the ethical standards of the profession, and act in accordance with them. That is why this course is created in the format of a simulator. We offer to feel like an investment professional who faces ethical dilemmas of varying complexity at different stages of his career. The EdEra course on “Ethics of Finance and Investment Specialist” is based on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct Standards. Training participants are encouraged to go through the various stages of their investment careers (from trainee to CEO) and to consider these standards in detail in the format of short dialogues and learn to solve ethical cases of varying complexity. This course will be most useful for you:
