DIGITIZATION OF COMMODITY MARKETS CONTINUES: VERIFICATION THROUGH THE DIIA APPLICATION HAS BECOME AVAILABLE FOR UEEX MEMBERS

From now , the access to organized commodity markets has become faster and easier. UEEX (Ukrainian Energy Exchange) opened an opportunity for participants to undergo identity verification using the Diia application.

Currently, the option is available upon accreditation on the stock exchange to participate in bidding on the energy markets. In other directions, the corresponding functionality will appear in the near future.

The new approach allows you to save time, resources and join the trades in a short period of time. Previously, verification took place during a personal visit to the exchange office or via video communication.

How to get verified through the Diia application

It is necessary to enter the «For existing customers» section, go to the «Verification» tab, and select online verification «Through the Diia application» opposite the desired person. Next, a QR code will be generated, which must be read by a scanner in the Diia application (the scanner button is located in the upper right corner of the application’s main screen) and confirm the transfer of a copy of the document.

Verification is performed to verify and confirm identification data, as well as information regarding the ultimate beneficial owners or lack thereof.
